Sheona Mountford

Sheona Mountford is a rising star as an F1 writer and recent MA Sports Journalism graduate who joined GPFans in March 2024.

Aside from reporting on F1 news, over the past two years Sheona has chased stories that highlight the cultural impact of motorsport, with particular emphasis on gender issues.

She has had features published in Voice Magazine and World in Sport that examine the progression of female racing drivers, and the experiences of women across motorsport.

Sheona is also interested in a variety of racing series, reporting live on British feeder series’ such as GB3.

As an F1 journalist for GPFans, Sheona continues to write in depth features on cultural issues around the sport, whilst breaking motorsport news to audiences.
