Alex Albon news

Alex Albon (full name Alexander Philippe Albon Ansusinha) is a British-Thai F1 driver who is currently contracted to Williams in 2026. Born in London on March 23, 1996, Albon got his big break into F1 with Red Bull junior team Toro Rosso in 2019. Albon was swiftly promoted to the big Red Bull team when Pierre Gasly was demoted midway through the season, but lost his seat alongside Max Verstappen at the end of 2020. After a year as a reserve driver in 2021, Albon returned to the grid with Williams in 2022 and has remained there since. He had claimed two podiums in his career by the end of 2025. Alex lives in Monaco and is recently engaged to partner and professional golfer Lily Muni.
