Fernando Alonso - News

Two-time F1 world champion Fernando Alonso is still a key figure in the sport well into his 40s (born July 29, 1981 in Oviedo). Alonso though has now been waiting two decades for a third title having ruled the world with Renault way back in 2005 and 2006. He had hoped that Aston Martin might finally be able to deliver a car capable of challenging in 2026 after the hire of Adrian Newey, but so far it has been a disaster. Fernando and his partner - DAZN TV presenter Melissa Jimenez - did have wonderful personal news though in March 2026 when they welcomed their first child into the world.
