Guenther Steiner news

Guenther Steiner is the former team principal of F1 outfit Haas and thanks to the hit Netflix show 'Drive to Survive' he became one of the sport's most popular figures in recent years. His sweary outbursts on the F1 docuseries have become the thing of legend and have spawned many memes and T-shirt designs. Guenther (born in Merano, Italy on April 6, 1965) spent nine years in charge of Haas before his exit from the team after the 2023 season. Prior to that he had spent three years in charge of Red Bull's US NASCAR operation, and before that three further seasons in F1 with Jaguar (2001-03). Steiner is married to wife Gertraud and the couple have a daughter, Greta. The family live in Mooresville, North Carolina but also own a property in Guenther's home town of Merano.
