Het gaat in aanloop naar de Grand Prix van Oostenrijk nog maar over één ding: gaan de coureurs wel of niet knielen voor de Black Lives Matter-beweging. Lewis Hamilton heeft zijn collega's opgeroepen dit wel te doen, maar krijgt behoorlijk wat weerstand. Charles Leclerc en Max Verstappen hebben al aangegeven niet te zullen knielen en ook Kimi Räikkönen zou deze keuze overwegen. Op het internet is de discussie inmiddels ook losgebarsten en hieronder hebben we wat reacties op een rij gezet.

Good for you. You dont have to take a gesture associated with a far left organisation in order to show your solidarity and commitment to a great cause. F1 has #weraceasone so supporting that fully is far more important than being pressured to kneel. Thank you for being sensible.
