Mexican F1 driver Sergio Perez is back in the sport for 2026 with newcomers Cadillac after sitting out the 2025 campaign. Perez (born January 26, 1990 in Guadalajara) had not been retained by Red Bull after spending four years alongside the dominant Max Verstappen for the Milton Keynes team. 'Checo' had six Grand Prix wins heading into 2026 and gives Cadillac a big name and a big Latin American commercial presence for its debut season. Perez is married to wife Carola Martinez and the couple have four children.
