Het was de bedoeling dat Nicholas Latifi deze week zou testen voor Force India. De reservecoureur van Force India zou op de laatste dag van de testdagen in actie komen.

Maar dat gaat niet door. Latifi laat op Twitter weten dat hij geveld is door een serieuze infectie. Hij werd afgelopen week opgenomen in het ziekenhuis om de infectie te stoppen. Inmiddels is de 22-jarige coureur weer thuis om te herstellen. Hij zegt nog zo'n vier weken nodig te hebben voordat hij weer de baan op mag.
