F1 2025 Miami Grand Prix weather forecast - Latest today as stormy conditions threaten race
The Miami Grand Prix takes place this weekend!
The sixth round of the 2025 Formula 1 world championship takes place this weekend, with the Miami Grand Prix taking centre stage.
Lando Norris will return to the track as the defending race winner for the first time in his career, having taken a stunning victory at the 2024 Miami GP, his first career win that propelled him into a championship challenger.
However, this season Norris is on a four-race win drought, and has fallen 10 points behind team-mate and championship rival Oscar Piastri, with the Brit desperate to repeat his 2024 success in Miami and get back on track.
Miami has hosted F1 since 2022, and this year's event will be the fourth instalment of the race, with Max Verstappen having taken two wins and Norris the other in that time.
The Miami International Autodrome paddock often adopts a party atmosphere, with huge-name celebrities, a sleek artificial boat marina, and, usually, warm Florida spring conditions.
Here is the crucial weather forecast ahead of the 2025 Miami Grand Prix!
Miami Grand Prix weather forecast
Sunday, May 4 - Race
Race day at the Miami International Autodrome gets underway at 4pm local time, with there being a 37 per cent chance of rain falling at the start of the race, with cloudier conditions expected throughout the course of the race.
Temperatures of 29 degrees Celsius are forecast for the 57-lap race, and those hot conditions are set to bring with them the chance of thunderstorms during the main event.
Humidity will increase to around 64 per cent with the threat of thunderstorms nearby, making it a hot and sticky race for the drivers.
On top of this, the stormy conditions mean that there is currently a 78 per cent chance that rain will hit the track around 5pm, which will be around halfway through the race, potentially leading to similar conditions seen during Saturday's sprint race.
