'Vettel's joy and Leclerc's anger' - Italian media reacts to Ferrari's Singapore GP win
Are Ferrari back in business?
With Ferrari celebrating a third victory in succession at the Singapore Grand Prix, the Scuderia's native media were understandably ecstatic.
Sebastian Vettel took a record-breaking fifth win at the Marina Bay Circuit, having benefitted from favourable strategy to get the better of team-mate Charles Leclerc, who had led the race from pole.
Ferrari's tactics certainly raised eyebrows, with Spain's El Mundo Deportivo saying: "Leclerc became a pawn sacrifice in a double victory for Ferraris - the Scuderia wins, but Leclerc loses."
Also in Spain, Marca hailed Vettel's resurgence, as he took a first win in 392 days: "He was suddenly back on the spot like a Titan at the worst moment of his career. He showed it not only Hamilton, but also Leclerc. For Seb, this success is like a title."
How Italy's media reacted to Vettel's Singapore win
La Repubblica: "From an ugly duckling to a spaceship in just three weeks? Is the double win in Singapore, the third win in a row for the Reds, a miracle after the dramatic start to the season? Not really: this year's Ferrari team was a slow and unfinished construction."
Gazzetta dello Sport: "Red wave. Ferrari is unstoppable. A double with Vettel ahead of Leclerc, a triumph that Maranello had been waiting for for two years. Sebastian Vettel turns the tide. Thirteen months is an endless time for drivers accustomed to victories, fame and world titles, but the dry spell ends in Singapore."

Corriere dello Sport:"Ferrari is back. Soldier Vettel can finally celebrate a victory after a year full of mistakes and too many thoughts in his head. The triumph is perfect for Ferrari with Leclerc's second place. Mercedes is gone, Hamilton at a loss."
Tuttosport: "Vettel's joy and Leclerc's anger: Sebastian has found his way out of the tunnel. He defeats Leclerc, who is protesting against the team. The real news is that Ferrari is strong on every track. The two cars do not drive, they play. Now it is time to maintain this position of power."
Corriere della Sera: "Vettel celebrates his resurrection in Singapore. Ferrari wins with determination, prudence, and the determination to return the blows that came at the beginning of the season. Hamilton has not won since August 4, and Bottas is missing."
La Stampa: "Red Revolution: Mercedes and Red Bull are just the crumbs. Behind the rebirth of Vettel and his young team-mate Leclerc is Maranello's hard work after the Hungarian disaster before the summer break."
