Esteban Ocon became the 111th different winning driver after surviving the turn one carnage and fending off the constant assault of Sebastian Vettel.

Lewis Hamilton battled back from a peculiar decision not to pit ahead of the restart to third although was promoted to second after Vettel's disqualification.
