Michael Schumacher sponsor follows son Mick into F1
Deutsche Vermögensberatung continues its 25-year association with the Schumacher name
Michael Schumacher's long-term sponsor Deutsche Vermögensberatung has confirmed it will continue to back the seven-time world champion's son, Mick, in his rookie Formula 1 season.
Frankfurt-based financial advisors Deutsche Vermögensberatung first sponsored Michael Schumacher in 1996 when, as a two-time world champion, the German moved from Benetton to Ferrari.
The brand featured on Schumacher's helmet but would eventually feature prominently on hats, replacing team branding.
Throughout his junior career, Mick has enjoyed the backing of Deutsche Vermögensberatung, and this is set to continue into his rookie year with Haas.
"DVAG will always be my first partner, and I am proud to continue this close relationship," said the Haas driver.
“It touches me to know that the Schumacher name has been a close friendship with DVAG for a quarter of a century. I am proud that it is now me that DVAG supports in Formula 1.
"Trust and loyalty are important to me, and I appreciate DVAG and the Pohl family as much as my father and my whole family do. A new phase of our partnership begins together ”.

Robert Peil, a member of the board of directors at Deutsche Vermögensberatung, added: “After more than 25 years of partnership with his father Michael, this is almost a matter of course for us.
"For many of our 17,000 financial advisors, he is, just like his father, a partner and role model in equal measure. With his extreme willingness to perform, his will to learn but also his down-to-earth attitude, he embodies values that have connected his father and us for more than two decades.
"We wish Mick every success at his start in Formula 1 and we are already looking forward to celebrating successes with him."
