F1 practice delayed as F3 crash prompts Monza track changes
Formula 1's final practice session was delayed as the FIA opted to remove the sausage kerbs at Parabolica following Alex Peroni's terrifying crash in Saturday's Formula 3 race.
Peroni hit a kerb on the outside of the Parabolica and was pitched metres in the air, spinning and landing on top of the barriers.
He was able to escape the car and was taken away in the medical centre for check-ups. There appeared to be marshals stationed at the scene of Peroni's landing, but their status was not immediately confirmed by the FIA.
FP3 was delayed by 10 minutes as changes were made to the circuit.
