Brundle calls for "manners and respect" from F1 celebrity guests
Ex-Formula 1 driver turned commentator Martin Brundle has called on celebrity guests to "learn some manners and respect" after being rebuffed by rapper Megan Thee Stallion on the grid at the United States Grand Prix.
The Texas race marked the return of Brundle's ever-popular grid walk for the first time since 2019.
The Sky Sports segment has been punctuated by numerous high-profile snubs from celebrities in the past and this was again the case with rapper MTS at the centre.
Replying: "I have no rap today, I’m sorry," when asked by Brundle for a freestyle rap on the upcoming race, the former McLaren driver was swiftly brushed away by a member of her security team.
Told he 'couldn't do that', Brundle quipped back "I can do that because I did."
Addressing the issue on social media, Brundle wrote: "I have felt under pressure on the grid before but by people called Senna, Prost, Schumacher, Mansell, Piquet and so on.
"Bodyguards visiting the grid for the first time don’t bother me, everyone’s got a job to do, but they could maybe learn some manners and respect on our patch."

MTS was not the only star to snub Brundle on Sunday, with multiple requests for comment denied by tennis player Serena Williams just had previously been the case with sister Venus some years ago.
Before instead turning to talk with golfer Rory McIlroy, Brundle further added to his highlights reel saying: "It’s a double fault; it’s a double fault."
