About Kerry Violet

Kerry Violet is a motorsport journalist and editor specialising in F1. She covers many facets of the sport, including breaking news, race reports, features, analysis and opinion, as well as managing and writing affiliate content for GPFans Global.

As a lifelong fan of Lewis Hamilton, Kerry reconnected with F1 at university and found the combination of her journalism training and love of motorsport to be a perfect match for the role of F1 News Editor with GPFans Global, where she has gone on to cover the 2024 and 2025 championships in detail, with her role continuing to grow in 2026.

Kerry holds a Bachelor’s degree BA (Hons) in Journalism from The University of Sheffield, with accreditation from the National Council for the Training of Journalists, having also passed exams in Essential Media Law, which gave her the tools to appropriately cover court reporting and legal issues, Journalism Ethics and Regulation, where she learnt how to adhere to industry standards, and Videojournalism and Digital Skills, which gave her the perfect training for a fast-paced digital environment.
