Haas announce livery launch for new VF-21

Haas F1 Team logo

Haas has revealed it will do a livery unveil of its VF-21 in early March.

The team is the last of the 10 in Formula 1 to confirm its plans with regard to its new challenger for the forthcoming campaign.

The 'launch' on March 4, however, is only to show off the new car's livery, rather than rolling out the machinery itself.

Haas has already made clear its car for this year is predominantly a carryover from last season, with few modifications other than to accommodate the new regulations relating to the cut in downforce for this season for safety reasons.

It means it is likely to be a difficult season for rookie drivers Mick Schumacher and Nikita Mazepin following their promotion from Formula 2.

Four of the 10 teams - McLaren, AlphaTauri, Alfa Romeo and Red Bull - have already launched, with six more to follow over the coming days ahead of the sole pre-season test in Bahrain from March 12-14.

2021 car launch dates

McLaren - February 15

AlphaTauri - February 19

Alfa Romeo - February 22

Red Bull - February 23

Ferrari - February 26 [team launch]

Mercedes - March 2

Alpine - March 2

Aston Martin - March 3

Haas - March 4

Williams - March 5

Ferrari - March 10 [car launch]
