Carlos Sainz scored his maiden F1 victory but the star of the day at Silverstone was the Halo.

GPFans editor-in-chief Ian Parkes, deputy editor Sam Hall and F1 correspondent Ewan Gale join Oliver Wilson for this week's roundtable.

Sainz scored victory at his 150th F1 weekend after also starting from pole position for the very first time.

But Ferrari's strategists again came under the spotlight for numerous questionable decisions during the race, including leaving Charles Leclerc as a sitting duck in the closing stages.

The merits of the Halo again shone through with the device almost certainly saving the life of Guanyu Zhou in a horrific lap-one shunt.
