The grid for a now highly anticipated United States Grand Prix has been shaken up considerably by the latest welter of power unit penalties.
Following qualifying, in which Red Bull's Max Verstappen pipped Lewis Hamilton to pole position by two-tenths of a second, the championship-chasing duo start on the front row at the Circuit of the Americas as their title battle is set to intensify.
Hamilton's Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas could only manage fourth but serves a five-place penalty for taking a sixth internal combustion engine of the year, dropping him to ninth. Those behind him in fourth to ninth all shuffle up a place.
