Charles Leclerc is excited to return to Monza for the Italian Grand Prix this weekend, as he is expecting huge support from the fans for himself and Ferrari after his maiden F1 victory in Belgium.
Last season, the Monegasque performed at Monza with Sauber and witnessed plenty of fanfare due to his status as a Ferrari development driver.
Now, as he establishes himself as the future of the team, especially after winning at Spa, he knows the partisan Italian Ferrari fans will be cheering raucously again.
"Last year, coming to Monza was one of the best experiences in my life," said Leclerc.
"The support I had even though I was not a Ferrari driver was unbelievable so I can't imagine now.
