Verstappen OUT of Belgian GP on lap one
Max Verstappen's Belgian Grand Prix was effectively run by the first corner of Spa-Francorchamps as contact with Kimi Raikkonen eliminated him on lap one.
Verstappen tried to dive up the inside of the Alfa Romeo heading into La Source, but the gap shrunk rapidly and the drivers banged wheels hard.
The Dutchman tried to drive on but his steering was clearly broken and he slid into the barriers at Raidillon, almost taking Raikkonen out with him yet again.
Carlos Sainz stalled on the start line, while Daniel Ricciardo also dropped back due to contact, with Raikkonen fored to pit for a new front wing.
