Rumoured Hamilton love interest Cindy Kimberly responds to reports

The pair have reportedly dated in the past.

Spanish model Cindy Kimberly has played down rumours that she is dating Lewis Hamilton, saying the pair are good friends and that most of her love is reserved for her cats and her mother! Reports had suggested the pair had dated earlier this year.

According to The Sun, Hamilton and Kimberly spent time in each other's company in Barcelona around the time of pre-season testing.

Kimberly has previously been linked to Justin Bieber and has garnered a following on social media, with more than five million people subscribed to her Instagram page.

However, the Amsterdam-born Spaniard says any rumours of romance with the five-time world champion are wide of the mark.

"Lewis is my friend, we met a year ago and we have many friends in common," Kimberly told Europa Press.

"We are very good friends, that is the only thing I can say.

"All friendships are open to love, my heart is 70 per cent occupied. It is due to my cats and my mother."

Hamilton is understood to have remained single since splitting from pop star Nicole Scherzinger in 2015, although he has been linked to the likes of Rita Ora, Barbara Palvin and Nicki Minaj.
