Claire Williams laments Mercedes power unit problems
Williams have suffered more confirmed reliability problems in pre-season testing than any other team, and deputy team principal Claire Williams says the problems have come solely from the Mercedes power unit.
When facing the media after the opening day of the final pre-season test, Williams pulled on punches when explaining the problems suffered by her team.
“We’ve had several problems with the power unit," said Williams. “Today’s problem was the third of these tests,” Claire Williams said on Wednesday. “It wasn’t a problem with our car. Everything is fine with the car.

“Everyone is a little upset about the problems, because we only have six days of testing and a busy program, so we’ve lost a lot of time.
“We’ve just got to hope that everything will be fine in the remaining two days.”
Williams are looking for an upturn in results after enduring their worst ever Formula One season in 2019, a year which yielded just a single point.
Nicholas Latifi is the only rookie on the grid in 2020 and the Canadian has suffered the most lost track time due to the problems.
"For sure I would have liked to have a bit more track time and laps banked heading into the first race, as our running was curtailed by an oil systems issue," said Latifi.
"Tomorrow I definitely want to maximise the track time as it is the final time I will get to drive the car before Melbourne."
Thursday is Latifi's final on track running before the season opener in Australia.
