VIDEO: Leclerc, Vettel Monza laps prove slipstream's impact
Sebastian Vettel was left frustrated at his lack of a slipstream in qualifying for the Italian Grand Prix, and little wonder.
Having towed Ferrari team-mate Charles Leclerc into provisional pole position, Vettel did not receive the favour himself as a chaotic end to Q3 saw almost all drivers fail to reach the chequered flag in time to set another flying lap.
Vettel's frustrations with Leclerc were clear, and the Monegasque was "forgiven" over team radio after winning the Monza race, while Vettel finished outside the points.
With the Ferrari drivers' laps played next to each other, the effect of slip-streaming at Monza is clear. No wonder Seb was so annoyed!
