'Lewis Hamilton is just built different' - Mercedes driver praised as he struggles through back pain
Lewis Hamilton was in major pain at the end of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix, with many F1 fans left worried about his health.
Hamilton visibly struggled to get out of his Mercedes at the end of the 51-lap race after earlier radioing his team to tell them that his back was "killing" him.
Race fans were shocked by footage of Hamilton after the race, with the driver barely able to get out of his car due to the back pain caused by extreme porpoising on the street circuit in Baku.
Many praised Hamilton's perseverance, which saw him named 'Driver of the Day' but other F1 fans believe the seven-time champion should have not been put into a position where his back could be damaged so badly.

This is why Lewis Hamilton is the GOAT, he secured P4 while having to run experiment parts & set ups for the 8th race in a row, bad strategy and slow pitstops with a car that was trying to break his back with the bouncing

Just seeing an on-board, I’m not surprised. The porpoising in the Mercedes looks absolutely horrendous!#AzerbaijanGP 🇦🇿 pic.twitter.com/0tDPbeesoP
Hamilton overtaking cars left right and centre with a spine shattered in 48 places due to the proposing. This man is just built different 🤝

I'm not a Hamilton fan but that didn't look good. I'll be very surprised if doesn't need an operation. There's pushing to the limits it's then there's going to far.

hamilton barely being able to get out of the car after that race from his back pains, knowing the next race is in only 7 days and will likely be causing the same porpoising should be considered a safety concern in an emergency at this point
