Alfa Romeo has become the seventh team to announce its 2022 launch plans with the covers set to be lifted AFTER the first pre-season running.
Alfa Romeo will officially unveil the C42 in an online ceremony on February 27, with the first three-day pre-season test beginning on February 23.
This will not be the first time the team's car will be seen, however, with a spokesperson for Alfa Romeo confirming: "We WILL be running the C42 at the test in Barcelona. We will do so with a testing livery before revealing the full beauty on Sunday 27."
Alfa Romeo will race with a brand new driver pairing for the coming season with Valtteri Bottas and rookie Guanyu Zhou replacing Kimi Raikkonen and Antonio Giovinazzi.

The Hinwil-based team has run with an interim livery in previous years, with a pair of special Valentine's Day liveries run during shakedown tests in 2019 and '20.
Only Red Bull, Haas and Williams are yet to confirm launch dates for their all-new machinery.
