Alpine confirm 2022 launch date

Alpine is the sixth team to announce its launch plan

Alpine has confirmed the A522 will be launched just two days before the start of F1 pre-season testing in February.

Following the announcement confirming the launch plans of AlphaTauri, Alpine has become the sixth team to issue a 'save the date' notice with the A522 to be revealed on February 21.

As per the current schedule, Alpine will be the last to reveal its challenger with Fernando Alonso and Esteban Ocon becoming the first unchanged line-up from season to season since Groupe Renault's return to the grid in 2016.

The team will complete its first meaningful running when pre-season testing begins on February 23 at the Circuit de Catalunya before the season-opening Bahrain Grand Prix on March 20.
