POLL: WIll Michael Masi remain FIA race director for 2022?

Masi's position has come under more scrutiny recently

Michael Masi's tenure as FIA race director has been cast into further doubt after a BBC report suggested a deal had been made between Mercedes and the governing body over his position.

The Australian came under fire for his decision-making during the season-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix last month, with Lewis Hamilton missing out on an eighth world championship as Max Verstappen claimed his first.

The report by the BBC indicated that Mercedes had withdrawn its appeal over the race result and the process taken after reaching a supposed agreement with the FIA stipulating Masi and FIA head of single-seater technical matters Nikolas Tombazis would be removed from their roles for 2022.

This has been denied by Mercedes.

With speculation ongoing, GPFans wants to know whether you think Masi will still be FIA's race director in F1 this year.
