Aston Martin will be pushed by "very wise" Vettel - Stroll
Lance Stroll believes his "very wise" new team-mate Sebastian Vettel can help drive Aston Martin forward after a tumultuous recent three-day test in Bahrain.
Aston Martin's AMR21 suffered from reliability issues and a relative lack of pace as its midfield rivals pushed on, with McLaren and AlphaTauri impressing in particular.
With Stroll able to take in Vettel's operational tendencies across the weekend, he believes he will continuously gain knowledge throughout the season.
"He's very knowledgeable when it comes to the behaviour of the car, what he wants from the car," said Stroll.
"His comments are very wise. He just has a lot of experience, he's a very talented driver, obviously.
"It's still early days and I'm sure I'll get to know him much better over the next few weeks once we start to go racing and we are on the track at the same time doing similar programmes.
"We'll probably be able to relate to each other's comments and give our feedback and have a much better idea what we're both talking about it."
Despite Vettel's experience vastly outweighing that of Stroll, the Canadian suggested he would be able to assist the four-time champion in settling with the team.
Speaking of his experience with the Silverstone-based outfit, Stroll added: "I have a couple of years under my belt with the team so I'm definitely a lot more familiar with this car and how this team operates than he is.
"He's still getting up to speed with a lot of things and learning a lot about how this team operates, how this car operates, a lot of new buttons, a lot of new things going on for him.
"We're in a different position but I'm sure we can guide this team in the right direction and get the most out of the car this year."
