"Carlando" bromance to live on despite Sainz Ferrari switch

Lando Norris and Carlos Sainz have insisted there will be plenty more "Carlando content" in 2021 despite the Spaniard's move away from McLaren to Ferrari.

As McLaren team-mates, Norris and Sainz were a breath of fresh air in the paddock with their entertaining relationships giving the team plenty of opportunities to create social media content.

Despite his move to Ferrari, however, Sainz claimed his switch won't stop the pair from creating more 'Carlando content'.

Suggesting what the pair could get up to, Sainz suggested, "Some bowling? We can go for dinner one day if Covid rules allow next year.

"I am sure we will be hanging out. So don't worry, you will still get some - as they say on social media - 'Carlando content'."

Norris added: "Golf is my new full-time hobby out of Formula 1. I am practising every night in my bedroom, my swing and everything to be as good as him.

"It is another competitive thing I want to beat him at and he obviously wants to keep beating me at.

"There are still a lot of things we enjoy away from the race track and things like that. We are still good mates outside of Formula 1, not just in the paddock. We will see anyway. Maybe we [will] crash at race one next year!"
