Mercedes' record-breaking 2019 comes at record-breaking cost for 2020

Mercedes will have to pay the highest entry fee of the team's title-winning run next year as a result of the dominance displayed by the Silver Arrows in 2019.

Lewis Hamilton led a sixth-straight title double this year - a new F1 record - with a new individual record points tally of 413.

Although the Silver Arrows' total of 739 is not their highest of recent years - they scored 765 in 2016 - a new method of working out entrance fees ensures the new record.

Mercedes will pay $5,490,812 for their spots on the grid next year. By contrast the team are reported to have earned $177million in prize money in 2019.

Teams are charged per point gained for their following year's entry fee, with the constructors' champions charged at a higher rate than the rest of the field.

Here's what every team will be paying to race in F1 in 2020.
