The passion is clear!

In just his second full season of Formula 1, Pierre Gasly has found himself in one of the mightiest cars on the grid after earning a promotion to Red Bull. It's little wonder, then, that the Frenchman is quick to point out the sheer thrill involved of driving in F1.

Gasly made the step up from Toro Rosso for the 2019 season after Daniel Ricciardo's shock departure to Renault.

Partnering Max Verstappen, Gasly has steadily improved after a shaky start, but has taken fastest lap in two of the last four races while pulling up to the leading pack's pace.

Mobil 1 The Grid grabbed the Frenchman to find out exactly how it feels to pilot one of the world's fastest cars.
