Red Bull finally reveal launch date
Red Bull has finally confirmed the launch date of its 2021 challenger.
The Milton Keynes-based outfit has announced it will reveal its RB16B on Tuesday, February 23, becoming the fourth team to take the covers of this season's car.
In light of Red Bull's announcement, of the 10 Formula 1 teams, only Haas has yet to set a date for its car.
Red Bull has opted for a name extension of its car, rather than going for RB17, due to the carryover of parts from last year under the regulations, and as such it is not seen as a new model.
The team will at least have a new driver on hand to pull the covers off in Sergio Perez who will partner Max Verstappen in what will be the Dutch driver's sixth season with Red Bull.
Perez was forced out of Racing Point at the end of last season, despite seven years with the team and on the back of his best season in F1, as it opted to sign Sebastian Vettel to help spearhead its new era as Aston Martin.
It is understood that following the launch the team will give the RB16B a run out at Silverstone the following day via a filming day.
