Reports: Ferrari to face a difficult 2020 season

Ferrari inside sources suggest all is not well at the Scuderia

Ferrari appear to already be facing a difficult 2020 season with early analysis of their challenger showing less than promising results.

Leo Turrini is a Formula One journalist with key sources at Ferrari and Quotidiano blog, he has suggested that there are few inside the team who are happy with the progress made.

“It seems to me that, so far, the indications from the simulator and the wind tunnel have not impressed the engineers,” wrote Turrini. “But keep in mind that there is still time.”

Turrini continued by talking about how the contract extension of Max Verstappen at Red Bull could have secured Sebastian Vettel's spot at Ferrari for the foreseeable future.

“I’m not so sure that 2020 will be Vettel’s last year in red. All the more so after Verstappen extended at Red Bull,” Turrini continued.

“Vettel is not the least bit affected by the hostility of the Italian media, for the simple reason that he does not read much of it.”
