Leclerc heads Vettel in wet and wild session: Mexican GP FP3 Results
Charles Leclerc edged out Ferrari team-mate Sebastian Vettel to take top spot in FP3 at the Mexican GP.
All the meaningful running was saved to the final few minutes of a session that began with damp track conditions after an overnight downpour at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez.
In the title picture, Valtteri Bottas was quicker than Lewis Hamilton and has looked more comfortable for much of the weekend so far.
Pierre Gasly shook off illness to drive seventh-fastest with a few laps towards the end of the session, although there were greater concerns for Renault, who did not run Daniel Ricciardo or Nico Hulkenberg due to an issue in the cooling system of both cars.
