Monaco Grand Prix Starting Grid

Red Bull will bookend the grid off the line at the Monaco Grand Prix, after Daniel Ricciardo qualified on pole, but Max Verstappen crashed out in Saturday practice and did not participate in the shootout. Penalties for the Dutchman and Haas' Romain Grosjean have shaken up the order somewhat in Monte Carlo.

Ricciardo lowered the lap record to one minute 10.810 seconds on Saturday and is joined on the front row by Sebastian Vettel.

Vettel won from second last year, and the poleman has not won at Monaco since 2014.

Of course, Ricciardo was robbed of victory, having taken his only previous pole in 2016.

Mercedes don't look as weak here as they did last year, with Lewis Hamilton and Valtteri Bottas starting third and fifth respectively, with the other Ferrari of Kimi Raikkonen inbetween.

Esteban Ocon took best-of-the-rest honours for Force India. The full grid is below.
