Will Mercedes overhaul Ferrari in championship race?

GPFans Staff
Mercedes endured a torrid start to the season but has turned around its fortunes to become a consistent podium challenger.
The Silver Arrows are yet to win a race this term but have maintained a consistent presence on the podium across the most recent six races from Azerbaijan to Hungary.
This streak has drawn Mercedes level with Ferrari on 11 podiums for the season and the team is now just 30 points short of the Scuderia despite lagging behind in terms of outright pace.
With Mercedes making the most of every weekend and Ferrari still suffering with reliability and strategy issues, could the Silver Arrows climb to second behind only Red Bull?
