Perez completed donuts on a show run in Dallas

Sergio Perez has completed the first donuts of his Red Bull career during a show run in Dallas.

Perez took to the Dallas streets ahead of the United States Grand Prix at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin to complete Red Bull's first public show run in two years.

The Mexican performed a number of straight-line runs with donuts at either end in Sebastian Vettel's 2011 title-winning RB7 nicknamed Kinky Kylie.

"It was very special, I really enjoyed it," said Perez. "It was the first time doing donuts in the Red Bull car which was a lot of fun and it was definitely a day that none of us will forget soon."

"I always love visiting the US, I could feel the energy from the crowd and it was amazing to see the smiles on people’s faces.

"Thank you to all of the fans for the support today, it’s made me even more excited to race next weekend in Austin, hopefully, we can make it another double podium.”

Perez is currently fifth in the drivers' championship standings, just 10-points shy of Lando Norris and arrives in the US off the back of his third Red Bull podium.
