Ferrari has announced a celebration to mark 70 years since its first F1 victory at the British Grand Prix.
Jose Froilan Gonzalez took the Scuderia's first grand prix victory at Silverstone in 1951 at the wheel of the 375 F1, the first of 238 wins in the sport to date.
To celebrate the occasion, the 375 F1 has been restored at base in Maranello ahead of the British Grand Prix this weekend for Charles Leclerc to follow in the footsteps of Argentinian racer "El Cabezon" Gonzalez and pilot the car around the modern Silverstone layout.
The team will also carry a special logo on the halo of the SF21s of Leclerc and Carlos Sainz to pay homage during the race itself, whilst the Italian outfit will also carry the #grazzieazzuri to celebrate the Italian national team's success at the UEFA Euro 2020 football championship last weekend.
