W Series confirms six new drivers as Chadwick and others return for 2020
Jamie Chadwick will return to defend her W Series crown in 2020, having been confirmed among the 12 returning drivers for next season.
The top 12 of the 2019 standings will once again be in action in the all-female series next year.
Chadwick was signed to Williams' development system during her championship-winnin campaign and might have been aiming for a spot in F1's feeder series, but will have another crack at the W Series.
The Briton and fellow 2019 race-winners Beitske Visser, Marta Garcia, Emma Kimilainen and Alice Powell are all back on the grid next year.
Megan Gilkes won the experimental non-championship reverse-grid race in Assen but is among those to have dropped off the provisional line-up thus far.
Six new names have been confirmed after a selection process in Spain: Ayla Agren, Abbie Eaton, Belen Garcia, Nerea Marti, Irina Sidorkova and Bruna Tomaselli.
Two more drivers are yet to be announced.
