Hamilton breaks Schumacher race lead record
Lewis Hamilton has broken the legendary Michael Schumacher's record of having led in the most grands prix ever, following his period in front in the Russian Grand Prix.
Charles Leclerc's pit plus Sebastian Vettel's retirement allowed the Brit to move into the lead and surpass the special mark held exclusively by the German for a number of years.
The five-time world champion has now been in front during 143 races in his F1 career, one more than Schumacher as he continue to take a host of his records.
With Hamilton showing signs of wanting to keep going for a few years yet, it's clear that that particular mark will be extended in the races to come.
