Vettel reacts to FIA: Let us do what we want
Sebastian Vettel took aim at modern Formula 1 circuits and an over-regulation of racing after Ferrari's right to review his Canadian Grand Prix penalty was rejected, even light-heartedly saying that the only way to solve his frustrations may be to quit F1.
Vettel's second-place finish in Montreal was confirmed in Le Castellet on Friday, as the FIA rejected new evidence brought by Ferrari, which in truth amounted to little more than an analysis made by Sky Sports' Karun Chandhok and a camera angle facing Vettel.
The German clearly remained irked, and said on Thursday in France that his opinion had not been changed since the race in Canada.
Asked how he could change things moving forward, Vettel joked to Sky Sports: "Retire! At least then I'm not in trouble anymore."

Offering a more serious analysis, Vettel called for deregulation of racing rules.
"Everybody's to blame," he said. "The problem is that we are hurt with these things.
"I think they started a long time ago when it was about 'did he cross the white line, use too much kerb?'
"Let us do what we want. If you're unhappy with how we race, or how we drive, then build different tracks. It's as easy as that.
"Don't build car parks with lines and kerbs on it, like that one [Paul Ricard]!
"There are too many paragraphs, but what do you change, how can you change? Just burn the papers!"
