Sebastian Vettel took aim at modern Formula 1 circuits and an over-regulation of racing after Ferrari's right to review his Canadian Grand Prix penalty was rejected, even light-heartedly saying that the only way to solve his frustrations may be to quit F1.
Vettel's second-place finish in Montreal was confirmed in Le Castellet on Friday, as the FIA rejected new evidence brought by Ferrari, which in truth amounted to little more than an analysis made by Sky Sports' Karun Chandhok and a camera angle facing Vettel.
The German clearly remained irked, and said on Thursday in France that his opinion had not been changed since the race in Canada.
Asked how he could change things moving forward, Vettel joked to Sky Sports: "Retire! At least then I'm not in trouble anymore."
