In the most controversial moment of the 2019 Formula 1 season so far, Sebastian Vettel finished the Canadian Grand Prix as the fastest driver, crossing the finish line first, only to be stripped of the win and demoted to second after receiving a five-second penalty. His offence? Returning to the track in an “unsafe” manner ahead of Lewis Hamilton.
