The papaya outfit concluded last season as the strongest team on the grid, with star driver Lando Norris securing a vital fourth career victory at the season finale in Abu Dhabi, driving the team to championship success.

This time last year, neither of McLaren’s F1 driver duo had achieved their maiden grand prix win, but heading into the upcoming season, the team boast one of the strongest lineups in the paddock, perhaps second only to Ferrari now that they have secured the signature of seven-time champion Lewis Hamilton.

As the most consistent team last season, McLaren took the fight to Red Bull both in the drivers' and the constructors' championships, with Norris now pegged as the favourite to topple Max Verstappen after his four consecutive titles.
