Hamilton less than a tenth ahead of Verstappen, Vettel: Hungarian GP FP3 Results
There was little to split Mercedes, Ferrari and Red Bull during a third practice session for the Hungarian Grand Prix, topped by Lewis Hamilton at the last.
The session was knocked down to 50 minutes after cement dust was dropped onto the track to help mop up an oil spillage from Saturday morning's Formula 2 race.
It meant the track rapidly improved as the session went on and the dust was gradually cleared away, with a string of searing laps coming in towards the end.
Hamilton ended the session in P1, with a new lap record of 1:16.084 to his name, just one hundredth of a second quicker than Max Verstappen, while Sebastian Vettel less than a tenth further down, with Ferrari mighty once again in sector one.
