VIDEO: Alonso's Indy 500 challenger revealed today

Exciting times!

McLaren will reveal the car with which Fernando Alonso will chase 'Triple Crown' glory at the 2019 Indianapolis 500 later today. Alonso will take the number 66 at the Brickyard as he tries to match Graham Hill's unique feat of winning IndyCar's flagship race, the Monaco GP and Le Mans 24 Hours.

The car will break cover at 14:00 BST (09:00 EDT) with a classic papaya livery strongly hinted at, as well as an even stronger hint of blue than seen on McLaren's F1 car in 2019.

Alonso previously raced in the Indy 500 in 2017, leading the race for long stretches before he eventually retired with engine failure.
