Mercedes' new Formula E car was given its track debut this week as Stoffel Vandoorne and Edoardo Mortara gave the Silver Arrow 01 an outing in Varano, Italy across a two-day testing event as the German marque ramp up preparations ahead of its FE debut.
Vandoorne drives for the Mercedes-affiliated HWA in FE, having left Formula 1 at the end of last year, the brand which previously served as Mercedes' de facto entry in DTM.
Edoardo Mortara, who drives for Venturi in FE, previously raced in DTM for HWA and was also in action alongside the Belgian.

The new car covered a total of 527 kilometres in the three-day test.
Toto Wolff: 'Not only have we reached an important milestone, but we have also laid a solid foundation for further development.
'When a new racing car comes to life for the first time and goes out onto the track, that's always a very special moment.
Mortara filled in for Gary Paffett, who was driving at the Intercontinental GT Challenge at Laguna Seca.
The car will make its Formula E debut in the sixth season of the all-electric series.
Mercedes Formula E team will share a base and expertise from the Silver Arrows' all-conquering Formula 1 programme.
