Daniel Ricciardo's 2018 might have been ultimately frustrating on the track with Red Bull, but things are seemingly going well away from Formula 1 after it was reported that the Australian star is dating model, and fellow Perth native, Jessica Gomes.

There have been few clues about the Honeybadger's relationship status since he broke up with childhood sweetheart Jemma Boskovich in 2016.

He was linked to Red Bull employee Annemarie Horbass earlier this year, but it as suggested that it was "not serious" between the seven-time grand prix winner and the German.

Things may be heating up with Gomes, 34, however, according to reports in their homeland.

Gomes has previously appeared in Sports Illustrated's swimsuit edition and has a strong following in South Korea, appearing in the first Korean season of 'Dancing with the Stars'.

It's not the only big change on the horizon for Ricciardo, who will depart Red Bull after five seasons to join Renault in 2019.

Ricciardo spent a decade in the Red Bull ranks, emerging through their junior programme and racing for Toro Rosso before his promotion in 2014.
