Will Hamilton shine at Imola this weekend?

Mercedes W13 has been off the pace so far

As quests for record-breaking F1 title number eight go, Lewis Hamilton has made an inauspicious start.

Mercedes W13 is definitely proving unlucky for the team and its drivers right now as it is comfortably off the pace of championship pacesetters Ferrari and Charles Leclerc.

Somehow, the team has managed to eke out results to at least hang onto Ferrari's coat-tails before hopefully finding a fix to propel it back to the front.

Hamilton goes into this weekend's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix hoping that will be sooner rather than later as he trails Leclerc by 43 points.

After finishing third, 10th and fourth so far over the first three races, is it too much to hope Mercedes can thrust Hamilton back into race-winning contention again.
