Schumacher defeated by W Series champion in Race of Champions
Mick Schumacher has been knocked out of the Race of Champions by two-time W Series champion Jamie Chadwick.
Schumacher and Chadwick faced off in heat 1B in Sweden for a place in the last 16 with the pair competing in a pair of RX Supercar Lites.
Although Schumacher was able to pull a significant lead on Chadwick in the opening lap, he was unable to maintain his advantage on the second tour after the two switched lanes.
In the Nations Cup on Saturday, Schumacher and Aston Martin F1 driver Sebastian Vettel fell to a shock defeat by team USA, the team made up of IndyCar star Colton Herta and NASCAR legend Jimmie Johnson.
A spin in her quarter-final saw Chadwick lose out to Herta.
