How to watch the Azerbaijan Grand Prix: Free, online, live stream and F1 TV
F1 returns to Azerbaijan this weekend with the championship battle already reaching boiling point due to the ongoing flexi-wing saga.
Max Verstappen's Monaco Grand Prix victory saw Mercedes lose its grip on the lead of both the drivers' and constructors' championships for the first time since the 2018 German Grand Prix.
There is, however, a storm brewing in the paddock with a number of teams unhappy about the overly flexible wings of Red Bull and several other teams.
In Baku, a high downforce circuit punctured by a long straight, these wings will be an extremely powerful weapon and with the FIA technical directive not in force until after the event, Mercedes has indicated it could protest the result and would be willing to take the matter to the international court of appeal if needs be.
McLaren is in dialogue with the FIA over the matter but has not ruled out taking a similar course of action with Ferrari also running a flexi-wing.
The action off track this weekend could well be every bit as exciting as the racing itself!
